About Pituitary Ireland
Who We Are
Pituitary Ireland is a national, patient-led nonprofit Organisation dedicated to supporting people living with pituitary gland disorders and rare pituitary diseases across Ireland.
Founded by a small Group of individuals with lived experience of Pituitary Gland disorders and a commitment to improving the lives of those affected by pituitary conditions, our Organisation provides information, support, advocacy, and a sense of community for patients, families, carers.
We understand the unique challenges faced by those living with pituitary disorders, including the often lengthy journey to diagnosis, ongoing treatment requirements, and the impact these conditions can have on everyday life. Our aim is to ensure that nobody faces these challenges alone.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support people living with pituitary gland rare disorders and diseases, together with their families and carers, by providing access to reliable information, peer support, education, and advocacy.
We work to increase awareness and understanding of pituitary conditions throughout Ireland while promoting the highest standards of patient care and safety.
